There were three phases in the recruitment under SSC CGL Exam. These were known as Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 exams.
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for Combined Level Graduate Examination (CGL) Exam 2022. Candidates willing to apply for SSC CGL 2022 Exam can apply by visiting the official website ssc.nic.in.
Usually 10 thousand vacancies were taken out every year, but this year there are going to be recruitment for 20 thousand posts. At the same time, a big change is going to be seen in the exam format this year. SSC CGL exam will now be conducted in two phases instead of three. This has brought great relief to the candidates.
The notification for the change in the format of CGL 2022 exam has been issued. There were three phases in the recruitment under SSC CGL exam. These were known as Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 exams. But now recruitment is going to be done only under Tier 1 and Tier 2. The point to be noted here is that the data entry speed test will be conducted along with the Tier 2 exam. Earlier the data entry speed test was held after the Tier 3 exam. Due to this major change made by SSC, the time taken to conduct the exam will also be reduced.
Reduced Maths-English questions
A big change is also going to be seen in the exam that now the questions of Maths and English have been reduced. This is done in Tier 2 exam. Earlier 100 questions were asked in the Maths exam, which has now been reduced to 30. Apart from this, the number of questions in English has been reduced from 200 to 45. Tier 2 exam is going to be of three papers. The first paper will be compulsorily given by all those candidates who have registered for it. These exams will be conducted in two sessions.
Recruitment on 20 Thousand Posts for the First Time
It is worth noting that SSC CGL 2022 Exams are conducted to recruit graduates in government ministries and offices. Under this recruitment drive, 35 types of vacant posts are recruited. It is worth noting here that every year 10 thousand people are appointed under the recruitment drive. But for the first time this year, 20 thousand posts are going to be recruited. According to the information received, this is the first time, when such a large number of vacancies have been removed.
